(Shorti) History-- Moll Dyer

Moll Dyer was said to have been accused of witchcraft and chased out of her home by the townsfolk on a winter night. Her body was found a few days later, frozen to a large stone. Stories say she cursed the land, the area has never again growen good crops, and an unusual number of lightning strikes have been recorded there.
